Blue Quest was an epic seafaring adventure, featuring many people as they traveled on a quest to find the color blue before it disappeared from the world entirely. To help remedy this, users submitted various pieces of artwork that mainly used the color blue. It is unknown at the current time if anything useful actually came of it.

Legend has it that the Blue can be found underwater, in a place called The Reward. It is said to be guarded by Kiara, who acts as a siren, luring sailors towards her, only for them to disappear shortly thereafter under mysterious circumstances. At least, that's what Tango said in a spooky story.

Day 4

After another quiet morning, the crew was greeted with another surprise appearance from Moby Zenon. This time, he was even bigger than before! Before anyone could react, he snatched Captain Tango, and fled into the ocean. The Naz-Possessed boat gave chase, but he placed Tango in his mouth, and dived underwater. Naz, leaving the boat behind, attempted to chase Zenon down. He was also followed by Pengu, Clone, and Fringe. Clone, having not thought the plan out too well, drifted to the bottom of the ocean. Zenon was too fast for Pengu, diving to depths of such high pressure, that Pengu had to return to the surface. Naz, lacking blue entirely, quickly ran out of energy and drifted up to the surface, where he was declared dead. Everyone eventually made it back on board, and the crew set sail for Psycountry.

With the captain and Naz both gone, Glacidon was elected to be the new, temporary, captain. Realizing that Tango had left her diary behind, the crew consulted it for guidance. Glacidon opened it to a section on Psycountry, and began to read:

"-Psycountry

The island of illusion, insanity and mystery

Population: ?

Landmarks: ?

Nobody knows the true face of Psycountry. For real. From all the brave sailors who tried to explore the unknown land, a very **very** few returned, remembering nothing, or unable to describe what were in there. The only certain thing is, the island is covered by a lot of fog, and on the land itself, there's a weird fog who makes any soul to go insane, have illusions and act strange. People should have care and a lot of self control while traveling around this land, as there is said to be an unknown entity who torments any unwanted guests on the island. It's also the only way to travel to Cool Glacier and No No Zone, as Moby Zeno is said to guard the quick route to them with a lot of traps. Naturally, your ship wouldn't be able to cross further than Psycountry."

Garbo emerged from below deck with a few new propellers for the ship, just as a fog began to drift in. A purple glow could be seen in the distance. The crew didn't know it yet, but that was where they were headed. With a bump, the boat suddenly reached land. And that's when the dream started.

The Dream

A mysterious voice floated through the air. "Welcome to the max where the ship can ever go, Psycountry!" it said. The crew slowly began to disembark from the ship. Suddenly, a blue shadow could be seen on the island, and the ship started to shake violently. The ship began to break apart into various pieces. Member of the crew attempted to leap to safety! Others drowned. Clone took a head count.

The surviving members were:

  • Clone
  • Fringe
  • Yoshi
  • Glacidon
  • Auber

A scream broke the silence.

"HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE!", the figure yelled.

After a few seconds, the figure revealed themselves to be none other than Tango!

Tango was in the process of being chased by a dinosaur (not Moby Zenon), and urged for the remaining 5 to join her in a nearby cave to take shelter. Most of the crew decided that Tango was real and not an illusion, save for Clone, at least vocally.

After a brief discussion, Naz suddenly appeared in the cave. The crew became highly suspicious of this, and began to interrogate him with questions such as "When's my birthday? (I-I don't think even the real Naz knows that)", "Who wields the hammer? (I do ;))", and "What do you turn into when lightning strikes you? (electronaz)". The final question tipped everyone off, and the creature admitted to faking it. It called itself a hallucination, though a persistent one it was.

At this point the crew began to experiment and explore the possibilities within this cave. Clone, for example, imagined he had regular hand paws, rather than the weird two-fingered claw things he has, and it popped into existence. Through this, the crew concluded that hallucinations such as this were merely visual and auditory. Clone could see the new hand paws, but it was only visual. They still functioned identically to the previous claws.

Fringe gained an idea from this. He offered Tango a hug. Tango was reluctant at first, but eventually gave in, electrocuting both Auber and Fringe as she did so. Right after, she revealed herself to be the demon PsiΨ.

PsiΨ revealed that she had tricked everyone into entering the center of the island. The crew was trapped in a cave with an evil demon, and a pestering hallucination. Shadow also wandered in at this time.

PsiΨ began by flaunting her power in various ways: Bending spoons and forks with her mind, creating a bunch of clapping hands, turning Clone's fur purple, and giving a gold star to Shadow that turned into a maid outfit that was stuck on him.

PsiΨ then broke the fourth wall. All sorts of references were thrown her way, and Whistler appeared. Admitting defeat, she exploded into a rainbow, causing all the illusions to disappear. A switch and an artifact appeared, and Tango was on the other side of the island with a brand new ship. But something was off. The Naz doppelganger was still there.

The Dream, Part 2

Captain Glacidon called the Naz doppelganger out on his still being there. PsiΨ reappeared, revealing that the lovely beach scene was yet another illusion. With a wave of her hand, everyone was back in the cave, and the hallucinations were increased in power. PsiΨ revealed she was a being of pure psychic energy, and that her plan all along was to simply drive everyone crazy so they'd kill themselves, as she was unable to do so.

After Clone became a Braixen visually, and the Naz doppelganger became Glacidon's hair, Fringe muted his ears and gouged out his eyes with a fork hand. PsiΨ decided to be merciful, and offer everyone one chance at freedom.

The game could not be named normally, but the closest that could be pronounced was "Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe". In this variant, both players would use only their minds. The stakes were simple: if the crew won, they would gain one hour to leave the island with no interference from any sort of psychic powers. If they failed, however, they would be cursed forever. They'd still be themselves, but they'd act as Pokemon, and everyone would see themselves and others a Pokemon as well. There also was a bit about both possessing people of their choice, but nothing ever became of that. Through a rousing game of Hammers, it was decided that Fringe would be the one to face PsiΨ in Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe combat.

Fringe was a sore loser, and clicked rematch before proof could be gathered of PsiΨ's victory. Due to Fringe's foul play, it was decided that the crew would not only gain the mannerisms and appearance of a Pokemon, but also the body. Clone attempted to fight the transformation, but it only resulted in him becoming a Miltank instead of a Braixen.

The Naz Doppelganger, the trickster that he is, decided that now would be a good time to bring up paradoxes. Fringe used the classic "this statement is false", and PsiΨ exploded, for real this time.

Real Life

The crew woke up, suddenly back on board the ship. Everything that had happened on the island, including the boat breaking, was all technically imagined. Garbo had installed the propellers while the rest of the crew was out, and the fog disappeared from the island to reveal that it was actually made entirely of candy! The crew was free to do whatever they'd like on the island, and the actual switch and artifact where atop a small hill in an easy to reach location.

Captain Glacidon collected the artifact, a sapphire butterfly, and the crew drifted off to sleep, curious as to if they'd ever see their beloved captain or Naz again. The course was set for "Cool Glacier", their destination for the next day.
